Inception Workshop for the Estimation of Tobacco-Related Diseases in Nigeria

 

The research provided deep insight into deriving cost of tobacco-related diseases with Cost of Illness Studies by testing the prevalence and incidence-based approach to estimate economic cost of tobacco-related diseases in Nigeria. In the same vein, the research derived Smoking Attributable Fraction (SAF) for tobacco-related diseases. The research was done in the collaboration with Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA), Abuja.
